Greetings from a beautiful Sunday at the Universal Orlando Resort. As soon as we arrived at the entrance of Universal Studios Florida, we spotted even more Minions taking over the arch.

Several different photo ops for Minions have popped up around the parks recently, and now these slightly creepy balloons have been added.

The Gudetama and Hello Kitty popcorn buckets are available at the Hello Kitty Shop. Even though these are technically popcorn buckets, the parks are selling them as “containers” because they do not qualify for the popcorn refill program. These are still selling out quickly, despite not getting discounted popcorn refills. We would suggest leaving feedback with Guest Services if you want to see these becoming part of the refill program.

The Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop is closing permanently and we took one last look around today. Stay tuned for updates on what will take over this location in the future.

Banners for the 40th anniversary of E.T. have been added in E.T.’s Toy Closet.

We also found some new merchandise in E.T.’s Toy Closet, including this magnet. This matches the merchandise you can find in the Tribute Store. This magnet is $12.

This mug is amazing. This is a need. This E.T. mug can be yours for $15.

The themed fudge in the Tribute Store looks really good. We’re going to have to try the chocolate banana one first.

This stage was set up a few days ago in the New York area near Revenge of the Mummy and the arcade, but we haven’t seen it used yet.

We’re eagerly awaiting the reopening of Revenge of the Mummy.

For a Sunday, the crowds are relatively low. There was a chance of rain and the sky was a little overcast this morning, so maybe everyone was staying out of the parks. We’re not complaining. We’re certainly enjoying the quiet afternoon!

Just want to take a moment to say we appreciate every Team Member in the park, in every role. We loved seeing this Team Member watering the plants around the Jurassic World display.

This Minion has seen some things, but he doesn’t wanna talk about it.

Wait times weren’t too bad today.

The Hogwarts Express was only a 20 minute wait this afternoon, which is definitely worth the wait.

Where is everyone? Usually this area in the Discovery Center is packed with people.

Found the people! Watching a raptor egg hatch always draws in a huge crowd. Life finds a way.

I get so many compliments on my Jurassic World backpack in the parks and they’ve been sold out for a long time. Now they’ve finally been restocked, so grab one while you can. They’re excellent quality and perfect for carrying your park essentials.

Pizza Predattoria is offering Mobile Ordering again. Thankfully, it’s not your only option. This is one of the few locations we recommend the mobile ordering system at. The menu is pretty small and simple, making it convenient to grab-and-go at the mobile order window.

The new Jurassic World plush prizes seem very popular. No surprise that Bumpy seems to be the top plush of all the dinosaurs.

Looking at the Natural Selection cart, the menu still advertises Blue’s Churro Bites, but today they had Dulce de Leche churros. You can read our review of these churros here. Don’t they just look amazing?

This is the perfect Sunday mood. These low crowds won’t last long with a holiday weekend coming up.

We’re going to get out of here for today, but thanks for following us today. There’s a lot to look forward to this summer, so be sure to stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today.
